WHO WE ARE
Customized development services for nonprofits to achieve financial sustainability and reach new levels of growth.
Bodhi House is a development and philanthropic advisory company that provides strategic planning, training, and implementation support for non-profit organizations and philanthropic entities across the United States, Singapore, and Southeast Asia.
We understand the challenges facing non-profit organizations in the current environment, and have designed our services to be direct, practical, and long term to empower individuals and organizations to become financially sustainable and reach new levels of stability and growth.
HOW WE WORK
We offer a wide range of customized services to non-profit and philanthropic organizations.
-
Organizational audits provide a practical and swift assessment of an organization’s capacity in each area of the cycle, including program planning, marketing, board engagement, fundraising, and other sources of revenue. The audit is not a strategic plan, but its result is a renewed focus on the most salient issues facing an organization and a series of short-term recommendations designed to stabilize or strengthen an organization in key areas.
-
We provide in-depth, comprehensive, and implementable strategic plans to assist organizations in crisis, those considering growth, and those facing changes to their environments. Our planning process engages core stakeholder and beneficiary groups and includes a thorough review of the organization’s mission and programs, an environmental analysis, an internal analysis, detailed and diverse revenue strategies, an implementation plan, and a financial plan.
-
We provide support for a broad array of fundraising objectives, including the creation of new or expanded capital infrastructure, the establishment or expansion of reserves, endowments, or new programming funds, and short-term catalytic fundraising campaigns to meet a specific operational need. Our services are tailored to each organization and typically include campaign readiness assessment, developing a preliminary campaign goal, feasibility assessment, campaign design, and implementation.Item description
-
Our capacity building programs provide in-depth training and consultation to non-profit organizations, key stakeholders, and team members. Combining in-person group seminars, onsite consultation, and support with major solicitations and cultivations, these programs are designed to create a strong culture around development initiatives and provide best practice systems that are organization wide.
-
A stable organization requires a strong and engaged leadership team (internal team, Board of Directors, and committees/advisory groups). Our leadership program provides training and recruitment strategies to develop this team and create governance and engagement initiatives to create longevity in leadership and future succession planning.
